League Seasons

   

A.      Summer VNEA pool leagues begin sometime in May of each year. sign up sheets for the summer league are due sometime in April of said year. Sign up sheets turned in after the due date will only be accepted if a league needs a spot filed. The summer pool leagues are usually 8 to 14 weeks long depending on how many teams sign up and what the league wants to do. The end of league banquet/tournament will be held at the end of August or the first of September (approximately). The place is to be decided. There is a possibility of the league start being postponed, if this happens Chambers Music Co. will try to let everyone involved know of the change.

B.      Fall/winter VNEA pool leagues begin September of said year. Sign up sheets for the fall/winter league are due sometime in August of said year. Sign up sheets turned in after the due date will only be accepted if a league needs a spot filled, The fall/winter pool leagues are usually 20-28 weeks long, depending on how many teams sign up and what the league wants to do. The end of league banquet/tournament will be held at the end of March first of April (approximately). The place has not been decided. There is a possibility of the league starting dates being postponed, if this happens Chambers Music Co. will try to let everyone involved know of the changes.

C.      Types of leagues that will be offered each season are: Scotch Doubles on Tuesday, Open Nine Ball on Wednesday, Open Eight Ball on Thursday.  Qualifier leagues for the VNEA International Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada can be held anytime after July 1, and they must be at least twelve weeks long.  If you are interested in signing up for a qualifier league, please call Chambers Music Co. All times, days, lengths, and types of leagues from each season are negotiable.  At least four teams are needed in order to make a league.  If you would like to play any of the above leagues on a different night, please give us a call.  If there are enough teams interested, we can switch nights. 

            D.    A team sign-up sheet must be filled out completely (first                       name, last name, address, phone number, etc.) and                       turned in prior to the due date before the entry will be                       accepted.  The players listed on the team sign-up sheet                       that is turned in will be the players that start and end                       the league.  If any new players/subs that are not on the                       sign-up sheet, the league officers, and/or Chambers                       Music Co. must be notified 24 hours in advance of there                       playing and they must be approved before they play                       (please see subs listing for more information.).
