Miscellaneous Information

A.      Starting time is to be at 7:00PM all nights with a 30 minute grace period. Opposing team forfeits at 7:30 PM (no exceptions)

B.      Players have a 5 minute grace period after being called to the table, the a forfeit can be called on that player.

C.      If there are changes made in these rules, or national rules, and you and your team do not know about them because you didn’t read them, it could be very detrimental to your pool playing

D.      Valley National 8-Ball Association allows a 5 man play format

E.      Two players present make up a team and the missing players will show a forfeit match. The missing players will receive a 0 in the scores box and a 0 in their handicap box

F.      Standings will be done by the following days at 4:30 PM (approximately 3 days after the game is played):. Scotch Doubles leagues on Friday, open 9-ball leagues on Monday, and open 8-ball leagues on Tuesday. The days and times may change if there are any problems or complications. Standings will be available for you on the internet after 4:30 PM approximately 4 days after the games is played

G.     One copy of the league standings will be mailed to the team captain and then the team captain will be responsible to take his/her standings to the bar on the night of play for their teammates to look at. This is why we need the team captain’s current and correct address and a phone number (just in case there are any problems)). If the team captain would rather have the standings faxed to him/her or if he/she would like to get them off the internet, go right ahead, but please let the league secretary know so that the standings do not get mailed to the team captain. Bar copies of the standings will still be sent to the bars, but it is no guarantee that they will be there before you play (so don’t count on them to be there)

H.      If the player payback money that each team gets at the end of the league is not picked up within 6 months, that money will go into the league fund.
